‘Tis The Season For World Missions

on December 11, 2014

Hello Friends!

Thanksgiving has come and gone, Christmas is just around the corner, and 2015 will be here before we know it!  2014 was an exciting and fruitful year for us and we are looking forward to welcoming in the New Year!

Although we have been quite busy on the home front, international activity is picking up steam again as Tom will be embarking on a couple of mission trips early next year!  The mission trip to Ghana, which was originally scheduled for December 8th through the 14th, has been postponed until early 2015.  We are currently working on the dates.  The purpose of this particular mission trip is to research and explore solar powering opportunities.  The goal is to implement solar energy in new school projects in the country of Liberia over the coming years.

In addition, Tom will be traveling to South Africa February 1st through the 16th with a small team for the purpose of equipping and training leaders as well as the church body.  We ask you to please keep him and the missions team lifted in prayer for safe travel, good health, and divine appointments.  Pray for the people that they will be ministering to, for open hearts and fertile soil for eternal seeds to be planted.  Although I will not be joining him on these two trips, I also ask that you keep me in prayer as well.

We’re so excited for what God is going to do in these two countries and look forward to sharing the good report with you!  To God be the glory!

Blessings,

Tom & Lyly Ledbetter

“And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:18-20 NASB
