KGMi News January 2014

on January 2, 2014

Dear Friends,

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas celebrating the birth of our Savior and a joyous New year!

Every new year is a new season and with every new season comes a fresh start. The old has passed away and the new has come. So it is with great expectation that we welcome the new year! The year 2013 brought many surprises and exciting journeys, but we now look ahead to what the Lord has in store for 2014!

Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Isaiah 43:18 AMP

It is our prayer that 2014 would be a year of the NEW for you! May His Spirit lead you where your trust is without borders. May He call you into deeper water than your feet would ever wander. May you say yes to His invitation, and may you experience the joy of co-laboring with Him!

Yes, 2014 is here and the greater things are yet to come! Happy New Year!

Blessings,
Tom & Lyly Ledbetter

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2 Corinthians 5:17 NASB

Ministry Announcements
Upcoming Mission Trips

We currently have two international mission trips lined up for the first part of 2014. One will be returning to the country of Liberia in West Africa to co-labor with local ministries and help provide infrastructure, education and ministry. The second will be a mission trip to the holy land of Israel! This will be a very unique mission trip in that we will be partnering with a house of prayer from Pittsburgh and a local house of prayer in Israel. We are currently working on the details and will share that information at a later time.

In the meantime we ask you to please partner with us in praying for these two mission trips. May the Lord direct our steps and give us eyes to see the doors of opportunity He wants us to walk through. May He bless us with divine appointments, divine connections, favor, and the resources needed to fulfill His mission in Jesus mighty name, Amen!

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8 NIV

Human Trafficking Awareness Night

January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month! In our effort to raise awareness and support for anti-trafficking efforts, we will be hosting a powerful and eye-opening event on Friday, January 31 at Clearpath Church in Mesquite starting at 7pm. You do not want to miss this!!!

The evening will include a screening of the documentary film Nefarious: Merchant of Souls. This film by Exodus Call will give you a closer look at the realities of human trafficking, what human trafficking is, and what it looks like in different parts of the word, including America. In addition, we will share some facts and statistics, testimonies, and practical ways you and others can get involved. Together we CAN make a difference!

For more details about this event please visit our event page on Facebook. We encourage you to invite others to come and spread the word!
Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice. Proverbs 31:9 NLT
