To Run The Race & Stand For Freedom

Friends,

On Saturday, September 13th we will be hosting our first annual Run4Freedom 5K at Harry Myers Park in Rockwall, TX.  This year our goal is to raise funds for two purposes: 1) To run a marketing campaign in order to raise awareness on what is now the fastest growing criminal industry in the world, the trafficking of humans.  2) To help provide for the basic needs of the girls currently cared for in rescue shelters in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and Chennai, India.

How can you get involved?  Were glad you asked!  Here are a number of ways you can get involved:

1. Register to run the 5K race or to jog/walk the 2 Mile Fun Run
2. Recruit a team to run the race with you and get creative with costumes
3. Donate items such as granola bars, protein bars, bananas and Gatorade
4. Make a financial contribution to help us continue our anti-trafficking efforts
5. Help us spread the word by sharing this event on Facebook and Twitter

If you are a business owner or manager, here are a few simple ways to help:

1. Become a sponsor (to request sponsorship information click here)
2. Donate a gift card and/or product of any value for the prize drawing
3. Feature the event flyer as a window display for people passing by to see
4. Place the postcard size flyers on your counter for customers to take
5. Make a donation of any amount, or a combination of any of the above

If you are a pastor here are some ways you can help us get the word out:

1. Make an announcement to your congregation or invite us to share
2. Add the event to your announcement bulletin or announcement slideshow
3. Add the event to your eNews and/or monthly mailer/newsletter
4. Place our event flyers at your welcome/guest center for people to take
5. Share our event on your personal and/or church Facebook page
